“Officer on Special Duty” :-

2.Emoluments : 41085/- per month
3. Qualifications and Experience:-
a) Essential
i) Post Graduate Diploma from FTII/ SRFTI in any discipline of film.
OR
i) Master’s Degree in Arts, Social Science, MBA or Humanities of recognized University / Film Studies.
ii) 02 years experience in film promotion, publicity, event management, sponsorship media
activities etc.
iii) Knowledge of Indian and Foreign Cinema.
OR
i) Bachelor degree in any subject.
ii) At least 05 years experience in film promotion, publicity, event management, sponsorship media activities etc.
iii) Knowledge of Indian and Foreign Cinema.
b) Desirable
Research and / or writing experience in the field of Cinema.
Experience of:
1) Event Management: creative conceptualization & content designing of event. Technical planning & management of event. Logistical planning & management of event.
2) Strategic Branding: Strategic branding of the event to ensure maximum visibility. Brand building & activation.
3) Publicity: wide publicity experience through Ads in leading dailies, liaising with PIB/DAVP/DD News/AIR/FM Radio stations/ News channel etc. Designing online content / digital media, outdoor branding, campaign through social network site, organizing press conference & getting good media mileage for the event. Creation of film festival catalogue, festival screening schedule, poster etc…
4) Budget: Preparing budget of the event.
5) Ceremonies: Designing opening / closing/ award ceremonies for the festival.
6) Invitation: Inviting “people of eminence in the field of cinema” for the events.
7) Revenue: Developing revenue from the events.
8) Sponsorship: Developing Sponsorship for events.
9) Hospitality: Looking after the hospitality arrangements.
4) Emoluments and deductions:
He/she shall be paid fixed consolidated amount of 41085/- per month.
A superannuated employee from Government organization, if hired for the said post then he / she will be paid fixed consolidated amount per month as mentioned above provided such consolidated amount plus pension / PEG does not exceed last salary drawn.
The Institution will try to provide an accommodation in the campus. In case the accommodation is not available, he/she will be provided HRA as per FTII rules. (except local persons).
There will not be any deductions / contributions towards Provident Fund or any other pensionary contributions from either side. No other administrative / financial benefits will be applicable. However, Income Tax, Professional Tax and any other Govt. Tax will be deducted as per rules.
5. Leave Rules: He will be entitled for 2 & ½ days leave per month (30 days). However, such leave can be accumulated only up to the hired period and to be consumed within the said hired period. Thereafter, the said leave will lapse automatically. There will be no leave encashment of the said leave. This leave will be in addition to the gazetted holidays, second Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
(a) General: Leave cannot be claimed as a right. Discretion to refuse or revoke leave is reserved with the Director.
(b) Sanctioning Authority: The sanctioning authority for granting the leave will be the Director / Dean but only on the recommendation of the concerned head of the department.
6. Termination of contract under misconduct or unauthorized absence:
In case of misconduct or inefficiency or any complaints or breach of any rules and regulation as are applicable to the permanent FTII employees, Director is empowered to terminate the services without any notice.
b) He may have to give prior notice of one month to the Director, in case he terminates the contract with the FTII.
At the time of joining duties he/she may have to furnish a self declaration stating that he/she is not involved in any criminal, antisocial, antinational, illegal activity and that no existing court or police case is against him/her.
Any falsification of information of relevant eligibility condition/qualification or personal information would lead to disqualification for appointment.
NOTE :
This post is proposed to be filed on temporary basis for conducting and co-ordinating various events of 100 years celebration cinema in FTII. Institute however, reserves the right to assign any other duty as well.
The application should be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft of 500/- ( Five Hundred Only) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Accounts Officer, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, payable at PUNE. Remittance in cash, postal orders or Cheques will not be accepted.
No Traveling allowance will be paid for attending the interview, in case interview is required for selection.
