Assam Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2012 for 4500 Teachers Notification, Paper Pattern

Secondary Education Department (Government of Assam), Assam issued Notification for 4500 Teachers via Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) as per Notification No RMSA/TET/143/2012 to be conducted by Secondary Education Department in last week of February, 2013:

Total Post: 4500

Age Limit : 38 Years

Qualification: Graduation with 50% marks with B.T./ B.Ed. degree from any recognized university.
Paper pattern : Assam TET examination will be of 200 marks of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each one of them carrying equal marks. The subject areas broadly are as follows : a) General Studies & Current Affairs = 100 Marks, b) Pedagogy & General English = 100 Marks.

How to Apply : The application forms will be issued through designated Post Offices across state and the filled-up application form will have to be submitted in any of these designated Post Offices.

Issue of applications from post office: 1st to 10th Oct. 2012

Last date of Submission of application form : 30th October 2012
Assam TET 2012 Admit cards: December 2012
Assam TET Examination date: Last Week of February 2013
Assam TET 2012 Results date(Tentative): 20th March 2013
