Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), statutory body under the administrative control of Govt. of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, (Department of Consumer Affairs) responsible for activities in the field of Standardization, Product and System  Certification, Hallmarking of Gold/Silver Jewellery, Laboratory Testing etc., in the country invites applications for recruitment to the various posts.

Application Fee: Rs.500/- + Bank Transaction Charge Rs.35/- for first four posts; Rs.350/- + Bank Transaction Charge Rs.35/- for other posts. SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates and existing departmental candidates of BIS for all posts. Ex-servicemen – Exemption applicable only for the posts of Junior Stenographer and LDC.
